I am planning to buy GSA search engine ranker.How many proxies are good to go with it? Is it good to work on VPS? Please suggest me ideas....

if you are going to have lots of thread then you will need more resources, so yes it is better to use VPS
i would suggest private proxies. ideally you have to use one private proxy for 5 threads (this is ideal situation) but you can go and use one proxy for 7 or even 8 threads, it all depends on proxies.
