GSA Search Engine Ranker - Extremely Powerful Linkbuilding Software (Free 5 Day Trial)

What URLs is your GSA posting to? I am getting URLs like friendsite.com or Russian blog sites. Not really helpful sites to link to my English tier 1. Also these spot checked URLs are from verified.

I just updated from 10.0.70 to 10.0.74.

Screenshots below. Noticed I have it to post link on 50% of the articles, but I checked 5-6 articles and none had links. Would you mind posting your settings since web 2.0s are working fine for you? I basically just want GSA to post to sites like wordpress (though I know GSA is having trouble with Wordpress in particular) and just keep making properties with articles and a link to them. I am linking these to Tier 1 (manually made web 2.0s), just so you know I'm not trying to make GSA SER make quality web 2.0s to make as my Tier 1.

Thanks so much for your help

Edit: forgot to add screenshots. Imgur link http://imgur.com/a/JXbZO

Can you PM me some example sites that were created that didn't have the link? I see in scheduled posting options you have it set to only post links on 50% of the articles, but you set "maximum post per account to 2+/-1 which means it will have 1-3 posts per account. If it ends up making only 1 post and you have it set to only post links on 50% of the articles, that might be causing the no link problem.

It can also be what loopline said :)

Just one quick question,
is this a multi user? i mean can we use it in 2 PCs at once using the same liscence?

I was looking at looplines list offers and saw the below mentioned. Lately I had just been ASSuming gsa would replace all posting by sbox....I just figured it would be able to hit all of the same types of comment sites plus more. So this really surprised me.

Are most of you using sbox vs gsa for comment based links, for anyone still using comment links that is? And why is this the case?

"I ran this list thru GSA SER and it was able to post to 16.5% of this list or only 26,000 targets. The remaining 135,000 targets are unable to posted to with GSA SER and are targets you can get with Scrapbox instead."

No you can't use it on 2 PC's at the same time using only 1 license. If you own 2 PC's, you can install it on both, but can only have it open on one at a time.

It's hard to say because I have no idea what kind of comments were used. If there are certain platforms SB can do that SER cant, they can always be requested on the support forum to be added.

For starters that statement is true, but its also a bit salesy and as salesy things go its subjective. I built the list with Scrapebox and thus it was optimized for Scrapebox. So yes those stats are true, Scrapebox can post to targets GSA can't, at least with both programs out of the box.

If you go looking at the platform files for GSA and the ones for Scrapebox, you will see they are quite similar, at least in basic concept and structure. GSA or Scrapebox could just take the platform files for the other and slightly tweak them and they would work, assuming the rest of the program was compatible with the needed elements.

That said, they don't do that. Ive even had a conversation about it with Scrapebox support. They both start from scratch and when you do that you can wind up with different elements in a given platform and the core program being different can result in 1 program being able to post toa target while the other program can't.

Conversely I took my list of 300K+ GSA and ran it thru Scrapebox and Scrapebox only posted to less then 20K of the targets.

To say it briefly the programs are different, built different, and I didn't even look, but Im not sure that GSA even supports all the same platforms Scrapebox does, although there is at least some crossover if not a lot. So GSA doesn't replace Scrapebox for posting links, but of course GSA can post to a lot of platforms, I think over 200 while Scrapebox can post to over 30.

Conversly Scrapebox does a lot of things GSA doesn't and GSA post to platforms that require authentication.

I prefer not to think of one replacing the other, but rather as the 2 programs complementing each other.

Does that answer your question?

Hi there Santos.
I need you help to deciding if I need this tool.
I'm new to IM and been reading much about this tool.
I know it is essential in link building but I do not know if need this one. My money site is an Amazon affiliate site. Should I use this tool for link building or something else? And another thing. My domain is about week old. When should I start building links and at what rate?

SER is a automated link building tool. First thing you need to do is get a good grasp with the different parts of SEO. KW research, on-page, off-page and putting it all together to create a good SEO campaign for your projects. SER is just one piece of the puzzle and can't do everything on its own, all the pieces of the SEO puzzle should come together for best results.

Best thing for you would be to do some research to see how others have used it within their SEO campaigns and see if its something you will need. Some use it for tiered link building, others for straight blasting to their sites, others for linking to parasites, videos and more. Its important you understand link building practices and SEO fundamentals before you start using any automated link building tool if you want to achieve good results.

Does this do web 2.0's? looks interesting.

Yes, it can do some web 2.0's, but that's not its strong point at the moment. However, SERengines 2 is getting a lot closer to coming and its going to be a lot more powerful than the first version. It will be a third party service that focuses purely on web 2.0's within SER.

Could you please answer some questions for me when you are able:
Will I need to buy third party software for indexing & captcha solving services?
Does GSA automatically determine who your competitors are so that it can target backlinks to the same websites as your competitors or is there a place where you key in competitors url's?
Do you have to supply your own proxies?

Thanks

Already bought GSA a few years back and I'm surprised that it lasted this long. I guess that shows just how effective this tool is. And I'm very lucky to have invested on it.

It's been awhile though since I last used the software. Where can I find the latest tutorials/guides?

Is SER Engines still running?

Checked out the GSA forums and it seems the developer hasn't updated it for awhile and that the thread was closed.

1) Its best to have a third party captha solving software and backup service if you want the best setup. However, it's not 100% required, but not having a captcha solution will make you miss out on a lot of link opportunities. For indexing, SER can ping and build links to links but for true indexing, a service or your own method would be best.

2) There is an option which tries to find and post to competitors backlinks. You don't import your own URL's, it works automatically off Google results.

3) There is a public proxy scraper, but if you're going to use SER for scraping and want the fastest, most reliable results, shared/private proxies would be recommended. As long as you have some decent speed Google passed proxies, you should be ok.

Yes, as mentioned, the forum is probably going to have a lot of what you're looking for. There a are a few bloggers that made decent walkthroughs recently which I can PM you the links if you want.

Hmm, are you in a country that requires VAT tax? If so, VAT is what's making it that price, its still a discount off the normal price since you would be required to pay VAT tax with normal price.

Sorry, no way to get rid of VAT since its required by law for certain countries.

I am interested in this software but will it help me rank my website still?

Please do PM me the links of your recommended walkthroughs. I want to learn how to get the most out of SER.

Just a quick question though, can SER make Web 2.0s for Tier 1?

Yes, it can help but you need to have a very good understanding of link building practices as well as on-page SEO before using an automated link building tool.

SER can make some web 2.0's, but if you're looking to use it strictly for web 2.0's, it is not the best. However, a new service will be coming soon that should change that :)
