GSA Search Engine Ranker - Extremely Powerful Linkbuilding Software (Free 5 Day Trial)

Sorry have to laught a little bit about this statements. No offense, but you punish yourself if you are not buying it (no I'm not affiliated). Think if you are really serious about this (*have to laught again*), then send your details to their support. I never waited more than 24h - even at the weekends, for a reply. Otherwise, good luck with your other tool ;)

Nahh, keep laughing pal, they say its good for you, no worries there is no punishment, just will have to deal with Russians instead of Germans. No big deal besides, I get a chance to practice my Russian.

Anyone Recommend a good VPS company?

I'm looking to buy a couple more copies of GSA but I need good Servers to run them on. I'm looking for Cheap But effective that can handle quite a few projects. Examples. My dedicated Can Handle Well over 40 Projects Running at 300 Threads.

My Laptop However Can Handle 15 Projects at 70 Threads. I could prolly do more with it but I don't wanna kill my bandwidth totally.

Any Suggestions would be greatly appreciated. :)

Did you see the VPS packages put together for GSA customers? I'm running on the 2 gig right now at 200 threads with no problems at all. I haven't tried cranking it up even more but I'm sure I could without issues.

This was the link: http://poweruphosting.com/windows-vps-server-gsa-customers/

You might want to give them a try if its within your budget.

I know these speedtest aren't the most accurate but I just tested it and this is what I got.

What about being able to embed youtube videos to the wikis to give them more juice?

Can you ask Steve is that could that be possible?

I didn't even know you could embed video in wiki's. I'll definitely ask him about it but wouldn't you be able to do this with HTML/BBcode or would that not work?

Isnt Sven supposed to be on vacation?

He is on vacation but has his laptop with him lol. He codes when he gets a little free time. I believe he will be permanently away from the PC for a few days when it gets closer to August but for now he's doing smaller updates in his spare time.

I'm not sure but I tought on wiki's are only profiles created because this is a little bit more hidden. But including videos and images would be in general a good idea :)

I personally create spun articles in the wikis with additional links in it. It's one of the main properties I that I use (in that way).

Regarding to the videos, yes. You can embed videos in wikis. However I have only done it manually in wikispaces. I tried adding the videos with the regular coding [http://youtube...] or pasting the links but it does not work.

However, there is an icon to add videos, there, you add the embed code from youtube and they work perfectly. I am not sure if steve can emulate clicking on the icon or he can find another way to do it. If someone can do it, it's him.

The same embed video could be also used in the web 2.0

On other type of wikis I haven't tried but I did a quick google of it and it seems to be possible.

Please tell Steve to get a life and relax. We'll wait till he's back

Something is wrong I use 1% to 0% CPU and about 11 to 4 kbps and spikes up to 1.5 mbps(for a sec) at 80 treads or 3000 treads. The internet is working just fine.
I am using automatically disable bad proxies on use. HTML timeout at 90 and 120.
im useing public proxies test threads 10 timeout 10. I have 732 good proxies.

This has actually come up before in this thread and Sven's response was:

"This can only happen if there are enough sites to post to. If these people haven't imported their own sites as targets, they are forced to use the built in searcher for new targets. And that will wait between searches to not hammer search engines. So for all google search eninges or bing search eninges or anything else the program waits between each query, the results are hardly anything more than 100 results each. So they will quickly submit to these sites and the rest of the threads stay empty/unused."

Shortly after this users requested to be able to adjust the wait time between search engine queries so they could make use of the threads. This is why you see the feature under the proxies that says, "custom time to wait between search engine queries". If you lower this number it will go a lot faster and make better use of the threads but at the same time can get your proxies temp banned if you aren't careful with it. This is considered a more "advanced" feature for people with experience with search engine scraping and how the search engines work.

You will need to make sure your proxies are set to either be used for "search" or "everywhere" in order for the feature to be enabled. I've never tried it with public proxies so I'm not sure how it will respond.

Public proxies hold everything back in the software and really lower the success rate, but if private proxies aren't in your budget you can just work with what you have.

s4ntOs you said "I'm running on the 2 gig right now at 200 threads with no problems at all. I haven't tried cranking it up even more but I'm sure I could without issues."

How many project are you running and what is your HTML timeout setting with 2Gig at 200 threads?

Because presently, i am running 31 projects on a dual core VPS with 2Gig Ram at 50 threads/100 HTML timeout but my submission and verification rate is very slow.

Can i up the thread/HTML timeout a bit to increase the submission and verification rate and what setting would you recommend?

Are you using the same VPS as the one I showed in the link? If so, then you should be able to crank it up. I use to be running on Skytop VPS and they had cheap VPS but I realized they're only on a 100 mbps network so its not nearly as fast as a 1gps network.

It really depends on your network/processor, etc. I don't know if you can crank it up or not but you can sure give it a try. :)

Is there a way to scan verified links to make sure the link is still in place? otherwise when building 2nd tier links we may be doing so to links which have been removed/deleted.
