You should not use Death by Captcha as your primary captcha solving service unless you have too much money to waste 
Always use an automated captcha solver program because they are way cheaper than using human-solved captcha services, in the long run. Although you can use Death by Captcha as your secondary captcha solver to solve captchas which aren't recognized by these tools. But for beginners who have limited budget, I would suggest them to go with captcha solving programs.

You can build list by saving verified links found in global 'options'.. or use scrapebox

Buy a verified list (make sure its in .sl format and not .txt) then import it under options (verified).

You can scrape your list with scrapebox, GS Scraper or some similar tool. Import them in GSA SER and start your campaing. Another thing which you can do is to buy list or to download shared list for free. I found one list on cpaelites. Here is the link below. I did not try to post on this list so i do not know how good it is.
One more thing, GSA SER can also search for links and post to them, but as i told you the best way is with good scraped list.

Keep the private proxies for scraping and use the public ones for posting.

Yes the GSA SER can scrape and post, but the most succes you will have with a good list inserted in to GSA SER. You will have to buy at least 10 private proxies. I use private proxies for posting and public proxies for scraping and PR checking. But you will see from experience what is working best from you. For best performance you will must try different types of posting, scraping etc. and after some time you wil now what is working best for you. Also you will have to paid good indexing service for your links because if your links are not indexed all this does not have sense...

Building your own lists would allow you to have targets ready to churn and burn your projects. Buying lists to supplement your existing ones is not a bad idea either.

Listen to this comment, it's what I do. Also you might want to visit the GSA forum and check out the buy / sell section if you want to buy a list. I buy a list every now and then to build up my verified targets. Also don't forget you should clean your lists so you don't lower your LPM.
