I feel like I have my contextual links set up right, but I'm having a hard time getting them verified. Over the past 12 hours I've only gotten 17. There are always plenty of submitted, they just never end up verifying. I feel like I'm doing something blatantly wrong and am going to feel stupid when u realized it.

For reference, I'm on a good VPS using public proxies (for a couple of days until I can get private back connect proxies again). Non contextual verified kinks during the same time hit my 1000 limit for the day fairly quickly, so I'm stumped why contextual links are so much slower. Any thoughts?

Are you scraping your own sites with Scrapebox or letting GSA find sites to post to? Or using a verified list

I'm letting GSA do the scraping. Would that explain why the verified is so low compared to how many I'm submitting? In non contextual links I verified roughly 1800 links in the time it took to get 17 verified contextual.

Yes because not all sites that GSA can post to end up being verified. To improve success rate people use verified lists that they create or buy

Do you have filters set for non contextuals? Like country or spam filters

Do they end up not being verified because they weren't successful or because it's just hard for the system to verify for whatever reason?

I thought about buying a list, but my thinking is that if you do what every one else does, you only go as far as the rest of the pack, so I started to make my own. I recently made the switch to always have my tools going, if nothing else than to gather data to make it easier down the road.

For this particular project (more of a test than anything) I didn't filter by country, but did by the word list.

Although this is good in theory, with premium link list sells running multiple dedicated servers using link extraction, chances are, any link you can find yourself is already on their lists. One way around this is to use custom footprints for your engines that only you have but if a domain has a known footprint as well as your custom footprint then chances are it will already be on a list anyway. Even then, if you do find a site that only has your custom footprints on it, there is a decent chance that your post will be deleted anyway if you are using auto-generated content that makes no sense.

Back when I used to use SER a whole bunch you could type up a manual article that is relevant and human-readable and use that in all of your list building projects for your custom footprints to increase the chances of it being approved. The fact that you use one article for all submissions doesn't matter as copyscape doesn't update quick enough for the webmaster to know what you are doing and you are just proofing targets. Once you knew that domain you could submit additional human wrote articles with links in them to your content but in all honesty it takes a bunch of time and effort and I moved onto just buying guest posts/niche edits.
