X’s algorithm works in a way that it gives your post a short time window, usually around 10 minutes, to decide whether your tweet will break out of the “X sandbox” or stay stuck inside it.
The main factor that determines this is engagement.
If your post starts getting engagement within the first 5–10 minutes, X recognizes it as a “legit” tweet and gives it a chance to reach a broader audience. After that, the rest depends on the tweet’s quality, hooks, and overall appeal.
Another important element is engagement boosters, which combine both impressions and engagement growth.
For example, I work with one service provider that delivers around 3,000–5,000 impressions per tweet, along with about 20 comments and retweets and 50 likes over a 24-hour period.
