Most people sleep on Reddit for IG growth. Here’s how I got 1k+ followers in a month without spamming.
1) Find the Right Subreddits
Not r/Instagram (too spammy).
Instead, niche-specific ones (e.g., r/streetwear if you post fashion).
2) Give Value First
I didn’t drop my IG link immediately.
Instead, I answered questions (e.g., "Where to buy X?" > "I copped mine from Y, here’s a fit pic [Imgur link]").
People asked for my IG naturally.
3) The Sneaky Link Trick
Reddit bans direct IG links, so I used:
Linktree in bio (with IG as the first link).
"DM me for the link" (dumb, but it worked).
Bonus: AMAs Drive Traffic
Did an AMA in r/Entrepreneur ("I grew my IG to 20k in 3 months—AMA").
200+ upvotes, dozens of DMs asking for my handle.
Why this works:
Redditors hate ads, but love authenticity. Be helpful, and they’ll check you out.
