Hi everyone,
First of all I would like to say thanks to this board and so many of its great posters.
I have been reading, re-reading and learning. Thanks to this board, I have put together a twitter strategy that is now gaining me 4-5 thousand followers a day. They are all targeted in the travel (mostly) and photography area. I started this in mid-August and today my accounts combined just went over 100,000 followers. I'm using:
2+ year old aged twitter accounts (several hundred) that i purchased online.
Tweet Attacks pro 2
100 shared proxies
1 dedicated i7 desktop computer running 24/7 that I picked up super cheap off craigslist
A VPS from burstnet (2ghz w/1.5gig ram for $24/mo - I might ditch this next month).
So the following and unfollowing has been going well. I've scraped a few thousand travel related tweets that make my many accounts look very topical and real.
What I'm having problems with is putting together a retweeting or rss strategy that sends my followers to my main twitter account without getting suspensions. Thus far, very few of my accounts have been suspended for aggressive following. However when I tried having a group my accounts do an RSS feed that linked to an affiliate offer - the triage was horrific. Suspensions immediately and everywhere (my aged accounts were ok for the most part, but non aged accounts were decimated). Needless to say i pulled the plug so as not to lose the aged accounts too.
Anyone have a good way retweeting strategy to communicate safely with a twitter following that i hope will be at 500,000 by Christmas?
