Growing one twitter account only. proxy needed?

hey guys, quick question -

im growing a twitter account in a popular niche alongside my blog. even if im growing only one twitter account with mass planner, is a proxy still needed? I will be using a vps from greencloudvps. I'll be following and unfollowing to get followers.


P.S. not sure if this info matters but its best to say it - i only have one other twitter account. its a personal one, I dont post anything on it (last tweet was 2012 lol) and havent followed anyone for a long time. Im logged in all the time using my main browser.

So you would use your personal account on your home ip and another account on the VPS via MP?
Even using two accounts on the same ip address is not an issue. But if you want to keep them separated, good, with your setup a proxy is not needed.
