So I am attempting to grow a youtube channel / get more subs, its a gaming channel with lets plays and all the video's are high quality 1080p. Good Mic as well, but a lot of people told me to buy views / subs, but I don't know what amount / what to target?

I have about 10 videos up, but I am seeing if anyone has any advice for me to grow the channel? or can explain why someone would buy subscribers? Likes, and views? I know views help rank video's, but what about subscribers?

I'd advise grabbing a copy of TubeToolbox.

Back when I was into gaming on YouTube and used it to gather and add contacts and gained around 30 subs per day. I still use TT but not for gaming anymore. I'd advise giving it a go!

I used to use TTB but realized it was the biggest waste of money. I would gain 20 subs a day and a lot of likes but also tons of dislikes. I find comment spamming works way better. I can get up to 500 subs a day easily just by commenting (up until 2 days ago but that is just temporary) and it is absolutely 100% free.

What do you mean by commenting? Like going on other peoples video's and adverting your channel?

You could always hold a contest with another youtuber who has gaming videos and get each others viewers to subscribe to you guys. You could do it with any amount of people. Sh** get 6 people, etc to be judges for a contest and get new viewers. Tell the people who enter the contest they must share the video and all that stuff. Prizes should relate to your content, but anything will work. If you don't want to spend a lot on prizes, buy some China wholesale stuff.

Gaming channels are a waste of time, there are tons of gamers on youtube. My first channel on youtube reached 3000 real subscribers and 2,000 - 5,000 views/day in 8 months and that's a long time. Now I created another channel about something less competitive (this is my second month) and I'm getting 20,000 - 30,000 views/day.
