It's achievable... only if you have a budget for this scenario.
Although you can try to manually grow that account with some automated tools using popular methods; Downside of this, is that you wont get that amount of followers in that time range. (Depending on your niche, it will determine how hard it will be for you to achieve that)

I was going to shed some advice since this is my field of expertise, but just judging by the reply someone got for giving advice, I'll keep my advice to myself. Some people don't like to hear an answer if it's not what the one they wanted to hear. You'll never learn like that. One must be humble ,and open to advice of people who have been there already.. it can save you alot of wasted time, not to mention wasted money. Good luck bro.

I'm not (yet) an IG expert, but without a "miracle" viral video or photo or huge accounts reposting original content... not bloody likely anyone will get 100k followers in 2 - 3 months (without a massive amount of time & people smashing it hard anyway)

Obtaining 100k organically within 2-3 months is impossible. If you try some other methods there is high chances of getting blocked.
