Don't stop with hashtags, I don't think comments would hurt you, use them wisely.

Now to my question: Is there anything else I could do to speed up the growth of my page? I only want active people following my page who are interested in football. Not interested in growing my page just to show off. The ambition is to one day earn a few bucks from it

I really appreciate all the help I can get from you guys, I can even consider paying money to someone who can really boost the growth of my page with genuine, active followers.

Not paying anything up front to, in case I'm willing to pay I pay for the results and for the results only
