I am sure many people have this question - Is it possible to grow a non-US Instagram account in US? From a different country?

I'm assuming you're meaning targeting an US audience while managing the account from a different country.

If so, you should have no problem doing it. I've managed accounts from other countries and doubt every company outsources community managers from their same country all the time.

Worst case and if your budget allows it, use a 4G IP from US and try to stick with US time zone for the account's activity.

@SHAYZO, yes, you can. You just make some research for the targeted accounts according to your plans: like your targeted US accounts, by location (US general or more specific, like California and NYC) gender, niche and so on. It all depends on your account (niche, content) and what you are targeting, what are your objectives (attract a certain group - like fitness in general or more specific - vegetarian fitness, go for a certain gender like- women or approach everyone, age and so on).
You can do that from anywhere in the world, with or without proxy, with a good research.
Hope it helps!

I live in Norway, and have an account that is targeted in Brazil. It works great

There is no case study that proves you can't.
It's important to interact with local followers/pages. Make sure to write comments in local dialect (most effective).
