[GROWING] Building A Structured SEO Team

I wanted to open discussion on getting your feedback on a company that what's to build a solid structure for an SEO team and grow out of the small mom and pop biz. Here is what I came up with. Your thought? Input ?

Keyword analyzer, competition and market researcher

Content writer (On page SEO Content, Blogs, Articles and other marketing messages)

Link builder (blog commenting, forum participation)

Social Media Optimizer (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Digg, StumbleUpon etc.)

If they hire a programmer(s) all of those things can be automated.

Your keyword guy and link building guy should be the same person, your social media optimizer and content writer should be the same person as well. Less overhead by combining these positions. In addition it makes sense to get the keyword researcher and linkbuilder being the same person because they know what keywords to link for and what anchor text to use and knows how to create those contextual backlinks that you will need.

Your content creator and social media optimizer should be the same person because they are going to be creating your content on social media channels as well as creating content for your website. They will also end up curating your audience to drive traffic from your social media to your website and vice versa. These two positions will end up working very closely together because they both end up being dependent on one another. That is how you can build a fairly successful team for SEO and Social Media. You just have to make sure that your guys/girls do know what they are doing.
