When and what does it take before you say that a site has gone from a micro site, to an authority site?

Is it number of posts, number of visitors, or number of links, what do you consider?

    thanks

I would say there is a middle point between the two.

Micro to me would be a small topic within a niche with 1-10 articles.

Then I'd say there's a middle point for mediocore sites covering a broader topic with 11-50 articles.

Authoritive goes even broader and will have 51+ articles and new ones on a daily basis.

    This is just my view..

    Home Page:
1,500+ pages of unique quality content, and backlinks from high authority websites. Or giant forum like BHW. That would be my view on authority website.

    1-2 articles/day and a consistent viewer base. At least 2-3k visits/day
