What are some good tips & tricks for growing a news website? So lets say I've a news website about cars or football, how do I grow it? What would you do?

Also, is it a smart idea to start a news website if you want to earn some $$$ or is it no so profitable?

Catchy and relevant content is a good place to start, you want your community to come back and/or see you as an authority in the space.

Fake news could attract traffic nowadays to help your site grow but it's kinda cheap if you go that route and there's a crackdown recently of fake content.
You need a good content writer . Social networks also could help you grow.
