I'm looking for some tips of gaining likes to a facebook fan page. In the end of May I started a fan page and didn't start to work on it till about June 11th. My page is in the cars category with plans on selling decals and parts at a later date once my likes have increased heavily. At the moment I have liked about 10-20 other car related pages and have been commenting on photos that show up on my wall. In the past 2 days I have increased my likes to just myself up to 23 other people. So any tips on how to increase this number? I am just 7 away from seeing what is in the insight panel ...
I rather not buy likes I am trying to get 100% related likes to my page. This is due to wanting to convert them at some point. I have decided that I am going to start small with items that are low priced. So far I have received 27 new likes today and have 33 total for the past 2 days.
Engage with your fans and get them to comment or like your postings. Every time they like or comment, it goes on their page. Then, their friends and family get curious. I brought my gaming fan page from 200 to 4200 in a few weeks. I just ask how everyone is doing, what they did over the week and favorite things to do.
I have been trying to give a call to action in my posts for followers to comment on my pictures and commenting / likes have increased. Last night when I went to bed about this time I had 35 likes now tonight I am up to 67 in less than 24 hours. This has happened with a good bit less promotion and more content adding. I know I don't have a lot of followers but I just posted a decal that I am going to try to sell from eGay that I will earn $1.50 from. At the moment I don't know how good this will go but I have been receiving tons of visitors to my posts so maybe a sale or two. Will keep this thread updated on growing a fan page.
I have been adding content to my fan page and also promoting on other pages to gain likes. Last time I updated my likes where at 67 now I have achieved 164 total likes which seems to increase more daily. I am 100% sure that by tonight my fan page will have 200-250 likes. Also conversation has increased within the page. One last question though... Is it just me or does it seem like FB pages are a snow ball and once you get up to an amount of likers it seems to increase daily.
No its not just you. (lol) the more likes people see on your page the more likely they're to like it themselves. Funny how that works. If you post your page in fb groups your likes will increase rapidly.
My latest news is that I have been banned from one of my promotion sites but it doesn't matter because there are thousands more. I have reached over 230 likes on my page since 6/14/2012 which is a nice little number which is growing. All 230 likes are all targeted to my niche... now I need to figure out a way to promote to make a couple extra dollars daily. At the moment each post / status receives between 250-400 visits daily and growing. I am thinking about implementing videos on my site that are linked to an affiliate that pays per video view or something of the sort. Might even check into hosting 1-3 pictures daily on another site that pays per 1000 views... I could probably get 500-1000 a day! If anyone has any ideas on gaining revenue threw FB please feel free to let me know .
I'm actually good on the grass roots marketing because I am going to have to write a mass PM that is general to most. Plus then sending it to each individual will take a while... At the moment I have achieved 336 likes that are all targeted towards my niche. I made one post implementing a pay per image view and made a whopping $0.004 which isn't what I am looking for. If the image came up like the image when uploaded to FB then I would be in luck with a couple dollars a day already but it shows up as a link. Anyone know how I can make links with an image pop up like I have uploaded it to FB? Anyways I am going to be looking for a new revenue stream and promoting for more likes... Update tomoroow.

So it has already started... the haters are flaming my fan page because of my technique on getting likes. Commenting on other fan pages with high amounts of likes as helped me get a total of 474 likes at the moment. Now I have another job which is weeding out the hater comments and banning them. Anyways I have tried adding a magazine download for tuner cars that pay per download and didn't have any success. So with that update I have a question for the black hat community... Is there any way that I could iframe an image within a status post or something similar to this? If there is a way to do this then I am sure I have a method to make some cash but if not then I am not sure how just yet.
