Hi Guys,

Thank you for any help in advance.

I have a 15K majority US Facebook page.

Right now, what I have been doing is if I find videos or photos on other pages that fit my niche, I share those posts onto my page. Usually, this garners fairly large reactions/outreach on the shared post vs. me uploading something myself.

I was wondering, if I am getting large outreach/reactions from my fans by doing this, will this cause others in my niche to see my page?

Or by doing this strategy, does this mainly help the other pages I am sharing the posts from (i.e., for example, if a fan liked my shared post, would that fan's friends see that my fan liked my shared post or would it just show the other page?)

When I post stuff myself though, even items that fall into my niche, they don't seem to do as well as if I share another pages post that fits for my niche. Has anyone else experienced this?

I had actually bought the page from someone else, who didn't have any real strategy, I just knew they had a fairly active USA fan base still so I went for it.

Here are the stats I have gotten so far in the past few days, just by sharing other pages posts on my own page. Are these good? Does it mean anything/has the potential for more people to join?

Like I said, I haven't had as good of an outreach if I oh publish a post myself vs share it. I don't know if it's a FB thing possibly or just a coincidence.

I also wanna know if downloading the viral video and uploading it as my own would make a difference.

Yes exactly my question! I've tried downloading the video and uploading it as my own, and it doesn't seem to work as well as if I just share it. Update, my likes have gone up about 18 in the past few days, I've been doing a strategy of sharing posts, and when I get a bunch of likes on the shared posts, I invite people to the page. Seems to work!

yeah post you share reach more people than those you post directly
 
Hello, Of Course you are helping the pages you are sharing from, giving them free reach, free likes, and free shares count.

this is what you should do :
post the video yourself, even if it didn't get likes, then share it on your page :)
they like shared content, give them that, but from your own page.
 
another thing, when users react to your post, and post is about sharing a video, image, anything.. their friends will see the original thing posted by the main page, not yours, they only see when their friends comment on your post.

Allrighty so i use one of my fb acc to post content, then i share ir with my page.

So will they see my Fb User or Just my page?

NO , upload your content on your page, wait 1 day, then share that content again on your page.

if you upload it on your profile, they will see your profile not your page.

I'd say create your own content. That way it's permanent and has your fan page associated with it for as long as you have the page
 
First, post high quality, intested content frequently and consistently.
I would suggest you to use apps to quickly edit your photo and video and save them as new files.
Edit the photos and videos in ways by add more spice to them so that facebook detection system wont pick up the content as duplicate.
Add a transparent watermark to them. Even it the thumbnail for you post links so that they are unique.
Also, add spice to your post links try not to carry fake news.
I Facebook reduce the reach on duplicated content and increditable links.

Post more videos then pictures then links. Only post them to your fan page once, then share then to related groups and pages. Re-share (previous, hottest) videos, pictures and links on the same page in the following week with captions like: #InCaseYouMissedIt

Consider implimenting a (weekly, creative) live feed to your page, which should drive more reach organically to your fan page.
