grow and monetize twitter HELP

Hi this is my first thread, but I have been reading in BHW for about a month.
I need you to help me with my twitter acc. I have 14000 followers , niche is quotes, but they are not active at all only (2-5 likes &rts) thats why i get likes from youlikehits ( 20-30 likes & rt) to make my acc look real. I got my followers from sites like newfollow.info followback.info etc and I think thats the reason they are not active, they are real ( well most of them) but all of them are people who used those sites to get followers for themselves and maybe they just want to grow their acc just like me and don't see whats on their timeline. I don't find another explanation.
What do you suggest me to do?
Should I change my niche to a profitable one like fashion and start follow/unfollow method?
And how do u suggest me to monetize it? I was thinking famebit, socialix or other influencer marketing platform someone suggested here in BHW. Is this possible? How many followers do I need to make money?

That would be an improvement. Honestly, I'm not sure how you would be able to monetise quotes!

Once you have a good following, there are many ways to monetise, especially in a niche like fashion. But don't worry about that for now, work on gaining many real followers who are actually interested in what you post.

when I first created my twitter acc I chose quotes because that is the easiest to find content and I thought it would be easy to grow, I thought I would be able to monetize it with sites like mylikes but I realized you need a LOT of followers to make money with mylikes and that is not the best way to monetize it

Since you're a quotes account, you could tie that in with mental health/motivation, and do some affiliate marketing with products in these areas. Maybe make some YouTube videos containing quotes, and get your traffic for the videos from your Twitter profile.

As for your Twitter profile itself, start doing some following/un-following. You're actually at an advantage having a large follower count because your follow-back % will probably be pretty high due to the psychological benefits of seeing a large follower account as opposed to a small follower count.

Just some ideas. Don't trash the account. Get the account more active (it won't take long) and you'll have more opportunities to make money through affiliate marketing and brand deals- and/or the YouTube videos idea and monetize the videos with adsense to get SOMETHING.
