Grow a LinkedIn Group to 100K+ Members

Does anyone have experience nurturing a LinkedIn Group to 100K+ members?

I created a few LinkedIn Group and that is my goal. I am looking to grow targeted users -- not gain random, unrelated members for sake of membership count (although I may need to rely on that in the beginning).

Any suggestions, advice, thoughts are appreciated. I'm willing to spend money to this end.

I think you should check your email and see if LinkedIn sent you a voucher worth 50$ for promoting anything on LinkedIn... Yes it is not so much but at least it is a start and you can see what is knowing and what is not..

I've tinkered w/ LinkedIn Ads before and $50 doesn't get you very far. Their CPC starts at $2.01, so $50 will only get you 24 direct members max.

I regularly create LinkedIn groups and have grown them to the tens of thousands of genuine members interested in the subject area. However, my methods for doing this aren't working as well anymore. LinkedIn has gotten much more intelligent in suspending my SPAM accounts that I use for sending invitations to other LinkedIn members to join my groups. If anyone would like to share notes as to how to avoid LinkedIn account restrictions please IM me. I would be happy to share what I've learned.
