Groups owners and members: please read

Yo,
What's the point of all these engagement groups?
I have made a test, 12 active accounts with 8-10k real active followers, I just uploaded a picture and liked from my all accounts. Didn't gathered me any extra engagement, 0 new followers, same amount of likes as usual.

What am I doing wrong?

You obviously need to use active accounts, if the accounts aren't active or small it's not going to work.
