heres a option which i do and keep telling others to do.. dont just make a group or fan page. make both.. and interlink them. for example if u make a group you would also make a fan page too for the group. include the fan page url in the groups desc
I think I prefer pages. I love that I can mass message my group members, but I think the updates have more benefits. It ends up on all of your fans' walls.
