Took a job this year as an online marketer for clients. I've got plenty of writing experience, so blogging and articles are no issue. Problem is I've never cared to learn about marketing. Until now.
Thanks to Penguin the only thing the company wants me to focus on is editorially given links.
Issue with that is most websites don't give two damns about advertorials.
So here I am, getting as caught up as I can with alternative measures so as to prove to my clients I'm worth the trouble. Otherwise they'd just hire their own in-house marketer.
I plan to contribute as much as I give back, so look for me out in the threads.
