Hey guys! I'm new to this forum as to the whole IM world. I've had a 'real job' working in IT for about 3 years now and have consistently hated it. Although I'm fascinated with technology I know there are far better ways to attain a living than to be subject to a soul-crushing, creativity-killing job.
I've always believed that there must be more to life than slaving away at a 9-5 until one's fragile years only then to be able to retire and (maybe) enjoy the fruits of one's labor.
I'm joining this community in hopes of learning necessary methods that will allow me to wean myself off job dependency and hope to be able to give back at the appropriate time.
If anyone would like to give any pointers, I'd appreciate it. Best wishes to all.
