Greetings from Denmark

Hello, my name is John.
First; I'm not a native english speaker, so bare with any mistakes I might make.

I have been coming back to read posts on this forum for some years now, and finally decided to create an account here.

My experience with IM is mainly built on workexperiece in conversion optimization and onsite SEO (SILO got a special place in my heart), but it wasn't untill this january where one of my blogs suddenly got mention in one of the biggest youthmagazines, I started to think about generating an real income from my sites using adsense and affiliate programs.

I have now decided that I would like to live fulltime of creating and running sites, and have calculated that to support my family I need to generate something around 10000USD/Month (we pay about 50% in income tax in DK, so the number isn't as high as it might seem) - point is: I have sat a deadline being two years from now to build create an empire that generates that kind of money, and I hoping that this site and it's members can make my plan come true. I'm ready to try a little of it all, as long as I don't jeopardize my income sources (adsense and the programs I'm in - so no clickrings etc. but I don't mind doing a few 'hit&run sites')

Thanks, and yes - the tax here is insane (depending on your income you can end up paying totally 57% of your income in tax) ad to that 25% VAT and e.g. 180% added tax on new cars, just to mention some few... BUT then we got free edu on all levels and free doctors+hospitals, but still; can't blame people for moving away from here when they start to make good money I'm planning to as well

I concur that 50% (subject to income sources) tax rate is ultra-high. May I ask how do you guys survive on food and accommodation?

I'll suggest that you read up on amino.dk. If you expect to earn more than $10.000 in 12 months, you'll have to be registered as a company/register your VAT.

Nice to find another Dane here I do already know amino.dk thanks (but actually thinks it have turned more from a good forum into a selfbranding platform with a little to many ads on, over the years ;-) ), have been selfemployed on and off since 1999 and my income from this is going into a company setup I then pay myself salary from, as well

The minimum wage is high in Denmark, if I'm not mistaken then it's around $20/hour. Also we have our (ultra) red government to save our asses if we're going through a hard time.
