Hi there! I'm Sera. I'm a long time lurker of BHW, and finally decided to register, contribute, and hopefully learn from some of the masters here.
Several months ago, I read Diamond Damien's post from 2006 titled "BlackHat Success: Never give up!", and it really helped me out of a dark place in my life. While I'm certainly not making any money off the internet right now, at the time I was facing homelessness and was a caregiver to someone, and I was extremely depressed and had no idea what to do. After reading that post, I was inspired to do exactly what Diamond Damien suggested, and take responsibility for everything and make my own path forward. I tried my luck with some CPA marketing, even though I didn't really know what I was doing, I did make some (very) modest money doing it, which showed me that anything is possible if I just try and don't give up. But in the short term, to keep from being homeless, I took charge, didn't give up, ended up selling a lot of my things, took every side hustle I could get my hands on, became an Uber driver and now I'm doing something like 80 hours a week of work. And thank goodness, I am not homeless!
But now I really want to take it to the next level. I'd rather not spend 80 hours a week driving people around for the rest of my life, so I'm studying ways of getting money through CPA marketing, Amazon affiliate stores, and/or AdSense revenue on a website. I'm definitely way out of my element, and I don't have a lot of time to study these things, but I'm very patient and willing to work hard. And as the original post that led me here said, I'm living my life on purpose, I'm no one's victim, and I'm not giving up anytime soon.
I've also been saving money to invest in some opportunities on the marketplace here that might lead to returns online, though because I'm still out of my element it's a little overwhelming when I do my research. Also, I do have common sense, so I'm definitely skeptical when something says that it's going to give me thousands of dollars within a month or two with zero amount of work. So, I'll be here, posting a little bit, and learning everything that I can in the meantime. Any suggestions anyone has for me would be much appreciated.
