Hello BHW freinds
I'm new here and have been lurking for a short while now. Really enjoying the vibe on this forum, always lots of creativity and helpful people around.
I will warn you. I am a complete noob at marketing, SEO and most things web. But I want to learn. I have thrown a few wordpress sites together and that's about it. I'm starting pretty much from scratch.
Maybe different from most on here, and I honestly mean no offense at all. I do have a full time job. haha. Honestly if you don't have full time 'work' and work on your computer all day your a lot smarter than me. In fact all of you on here who make a living like that. Each of you, your my hero. I want to learn what you do and be like you. Not literally though. Like wearing the same clothes and getting matching tattoos or anything weird.
I work in a technical field and spend most of my days monitoring network systems and doing a bit of SQL. Some might even say I'm not completely technically inept! don't hate me, but I have managed to maneuver myself into a job where i do shifts so work 3-4 days then have a bunch of days off which is great. This does give me plenty of time with the missus, enjoying myself and Gaming. (currently on Dishonored) My job also allows me to spend a lot of time doing research on here. Its nice to be paid for learning
basically sat monitoring DC's.
Unfortunately it is still working for someone else though. even if I earn millions I would still not be happy. But then again, I never understood why people who earn so much working for others continue working for others anyway. I do live a thrifty life but it is enough. Of course I would like to live comfortably, be able to take the family on great holidays and basically not have worry about cash flow. My hope on here is to learn enough so I can help my family and enjoy life. Yes you can enjoy life anyway. it is who your with etc, but lets face it cash = freedom. I know you can help me get there.
For me the most valuable asset in life is time. I've a baby on the way and want to step up to the plate and be successful.
Success for me. having enough to live on. Freedom from worrying about money. spending my days with friends and family. waking up in the morning and doing whatever I want everyday. (though tbh not really achievable in married life :-( lol)
I'm hoping to make many more friends on here from all over the world. I am truly international - I'm working nights this week. Maybe a knowledgeable individual might adopt/mentor me and help me on my way.
