Greendot Moneypak.. Scam or not?

Hey I'm wondering if it's really possible to make money off the greendot moneypak method on ebay... I need replys from only people who has tried it before.. thanks :)

I did and no one has seem to really test it out and give a valid response on wether it works or not for them.. like the %
 
Personally I would never buy a Green Dot card from anyone other than walmart or Walgreens. I just wouldn't want to take the risk.

And why would I pay more than the $4.64 cents I pay for it at the store? It just doesn't make sense to me.

I use moneypak a lot.

People do not have legitimate thoughts when doing this. It makes sense to them because of the situation
there in.
 
Well I just sold a 30 dollar one on ebay for $69 and got payed (99% profit). seems legit I will keep this post updated

You're account will be banned if you keep selling. I speak from experience.
 
thank you for letting me know, the persons account I sold it to got deleted.. I think I will stop after the last one I just listed as I do not want to lose my account credibility but I can conferm it does sell

Account is still up and payment is received double by some sellers sometimes.. it's weird but I can confirm this method works.
 
I hope your using a throw away ac for these transactions... you will get charge backs 1-4 weeks after sale. speaking from experience indirectly
 
Some might be real, others might be scam. While there are some legitimate purposes I can think of for this kinda stuff, it's most likely being done for the purpose of money laundering.
 
Yeah it works but not on a paypal account because once you start getting large amounts (100-200) paypal finds the need to intervene, so now I need a new merchant account that isn't as strict as paypal.

So.... you're proving that this isn't a good idea? Why do you think you should keep doing it?

When your merchant account sees you're selling greendot reloads, they'll shut you down too. It has nothing to do with the amount of money you took into paypal, but what you're selling. Ebay owns paypal, they share all of the information. I suggest to stop doing this before you get scammed, lose money, time and effort that could have been spent on something productive. I speak from experience. What happens when someone files a chargeback for something you pay cash for?

I'm already in anticipation of your response... Are you familiar with cognitive dissonance theory?
 
It's paypal in my way, I need a less intrusive merchant to complete these transactions but as far as I can see it is a easy way of making money if you dont question the method and keep the volume low and 1 transaction a day but anymore then that, paypal will catch on not ebay
