Does the FR2 provide much better disk performance over the SEO3? I'm not sure if I want to go the SEO3 next, or just skip it and go a dedicated server.

A dedicated server will perform much better than a VPS. I would prefer FR2 to SEO3, you can use the coupon HDU to get $5 off recurring if order FR2

I came here because the package looked good but that last poster made me thinking. If downtime is a regular affair then maybe I should look elsewhere. I am looking for UNIX hosting though

Nope, I didn't say "downtime is a regular affair". It just happened over a span of 48 hours. I have been with these guys for months and this is the first time this has happened. Uptime is actually high and download speed consistent.
The guys fixed the problem in under 24 hours (Windows activation issue) and now it is working consistently. Props to the quick support service.
