Gray's Journey to 50$/day

Hello guys,
Few words about me: I?m 23 y/o currently living and working in Italy. I?m new to IM, about 5 years ago I?ve tried out Adsense but, didn?t make much money (26$ total haha). Now I?m getting back to IM in order to make my dream come true ? I want to be FREE, I mean, really free! I don't want to depend on any country or any company, ''Been There, Done That''. I want to know I can take my computer and work in IM wherever I am.

About my abilities:
- I am a really quick learner
- Highly motivated and a hard worker
- Speaking 3 languages (and learning Italian as 4th)
- I can edit & create digital graphics
- I can create videos
- I have a basic HTML knowledge
- I was using a service called WIX for creating websites and selling them

What I feel I lack:
- I am lost in the huge IM options pool and struggle what to start with
- I know NOTHING about on-line anonymity, which I know I?ll need (BlackHat after all?
- I do not know how to boost my content in YT, Facebook etc.

My goal:
50$/day. I feel this is my goal now because it is enough to drop my day job and focus on IM.
I have 2 hours daily for IM and I give myself 10 months to reach this goal, as in 10 months I finish my current contract in Italy and it will be a great timing for an amazing new start!

I?ve read a lot of threads here and I find PPD very attractive for me, as I do have knowledge of building websites and landing pages, I can create a video (though, can?t promote it) and maybe the most important ? I just feel good about this option!

So, Day 1 ? 4/7/13:
- Opened an acc in ?Cleanfiles? ? awating approval.
- Found a ?How To? PDF in the dating niche I once wrote.
- Created basic mini site with ?real? domain I had.

Those were my 2 cents, I'll be updating here as much as i can.
Any ideas and tips will be gratefully received and implemented.

Don't get lost in all the possibilities! Pick 1-2 that you think you will do best for the start and focus on it

Well I am in the same boat too and working on my first project of YT + CPA. Don't know about PPD yet and I think I am going to start PPD with another to try which one is best to earn.

Well, some updates:

- got rejected by cleanfiles, was thinking of making another attempt but decided to try and get to fileice instead. tryed out DreamCash and got accepted imediatly which made me wonder how reliable they are. Any one know them?
- created a website which i plan to keep for long term stable income, I understand that that means it will probably lower income.
- got a really nice domain for my niche (which has pretty serious competition).

So, here's my plan:
long term project, adsense+ppd (at the moment at least), with an article database which is attractive for long time aswell.
Currently waiting for fileice approve (hopefully) and keep writing articles for the site.

More updates will come in the moment I will see my first cents!

PPD is a good way to start, you'll learn a lot that you can use later on. Good luck on your journey!

Hello guys,

In the last few days I focused mostly on improving the website and writing new content. Now it is looking very professional but still lacks content.

Although I received a tip in a PM on how to get accepted to cleanfiles, I didn't have their response yet (3rd day now). In addition I didn't get any response from fileice so I'm still using dreamcash. Have to admit this is very weird feeling because all my site is 100% original and with high quality content. Any idea why don't they approve me?

About my files, I've decided to break the content I have into 15-16 PDF's, is it very annoying to visitors to fill up those surveys and should I make of it 1-2 files or is having a lot of files actually a good idea because I'll have more downloads?

As well, I have been looking over the forum for some guide on how to use multiple YT accounts with PPD (is it called proxy?) in order to boost my traffic a bit, but found none. Anyone has some source where I can read a bit about this? Extra traffic will help me a lot both with PPD and adsense...

Nice thread, I share your motivation for the "pick up the laptop and go" lifestyle! Given your language skills, have you thought about diversifying a bit and writing / translating on fiverr? I do some multi-lingual SEO myself and having the language skills will be very useful to you.

My advice is to build a business based on your skills. Are you providing English content on your site at the moment?

First of all good luck with your journey. Second I think the best and the fastest way according to me would be to go offer translations services, they are pretty much in demand and since you already know about 4 languages you can start level 1 gigs on fiverr and offer atleast 3 -4 gigs for short one page translations and once you achieve higher level start charging for fast delivery. And also diversify why only on fiverr there are a couple of others with higher price gigs.

Well, some updates:
- I went on vacation for almost a week, when I returned today I discovered that my website was blocked by godaddy for some "identity prove" what so ever, It didn't got me even 1 adsense click or download. I just sent them my driving license let's see how long it will take to go live again.
- I keep reading here and I feel I made my first mistake by picking my PPD site subject, I read a lot about how dating niche is hard etc, is it really so hard?
- One more mistake I found is that I was using WIX service to build my website, despite the fact the site is astonishing, I understand now that I have to learn wordpress and move there, as WIX is not flexible enough. It blocks too much options I need - I even can't freely pick adsense ads size but from 3 sizes they pre-picked for me.
- Another mistake I found is I was actually picking my keywords by "Adwords keyword tool" and looking for LOW competition... Now I understand that I just shot myself in the leg, and it even makes sense why my ads weren't related to the website. I'm going to make deep keyword research tomorrow with a lot of great knowledge I found here on the forum, I target now is medium/high competition (adwords) with low exact search (somewhere between 1000 and 4000) and I will make my best in order to find easy competition there.

In addition, I read many methods and journals in the last few days, I learn a lot and understand more with each day. Tomorrow morning I plan starting keyword research in order to find micro niche with medium/high competition, 1200-4000 exact searches and amazon product.

Now, I have some questions for you guys:
- As I said in me previous post, should I stick to 15-16 PDF's on my dating site, or concentrate it all into 1 big file?
- Is having EMD is still, after penguin, extremely good in micro niches? should I look for EMD for my second site?
- What programs or websites (free/payed) are available in order to test my competition? PR, Backlinks monitoring?

I wish to every one good luck with your business, and I feel kinda good for making stupid mistakes as I start to understand what people mean here when writing "Start to act, make mistakes, learn, do it again better, earn".

Yes, dating niche is hard, you need to use fake girl profiles, etc, it's really not easy and you gotta stretch your "ethical boundaries"(if you will) a bit in the beginning.

I wouldn't use GoDaddy, namecheap is so much better and much more transparent and respectful with their customers. There are other great registrars out there.
