I need a logo done, and to accompany it, a set of banners.

Sizes :

Button (125 x 125)
Small Banner
Large Banner
Box (250 x 250)
Sky Scraper

Banners are for a Web Hosting company.

Pay is negotiable. People who can show a quick design, examples of work (Especially in the Web Hosting niche) will get the job over someone who quotes me a rock bottom price.

Payment on COMPLETION of work. You show me the work (Heavily watermarked ofcourse) and I will pay.

I have contacted people in the BST section, however they seem to be unwanting to give me a reply :)

I am interested in doing some graphics for you. Have a look at my website in my signature and head to my "Portfolio" section. If you are interested from there, send me a PM and we can negotiate rates. Would really like to build my portfolio with real work and not just my own :).

Nice job trying to work around the requirements of being a donor in order to include links in your sig or to use a bst thread to sell your services. There's nothing at all wrong with offering your services as a freelancer, but your sig is definitely circumventing the Forum Rules.

I'm sure you can do a fine job for pyronaut, and good luck with that.

I'm just sayin....

Hi GreyWolf,

By not having links in my signature, do you mean links that are clickable and go to another website? Because the url in my signature can't be clicked on (well I can't click on it anyway). This must have been a rule I overlooked so I apologise :).

LOL. Nice of you to apologize, but I see you decided not to change it anyway.

If someone were to post a sign on the entrance to their property stating "No cars allowed", if you drove across that property in a pickup truck would you consider you're following the rules? It's true that the owner could have been more clear when he wrote the sign, but it's also true that you should use some common sense when you read it.

A link is a link whether it's a clickable hyperlink or not, if visitors land on your website when they follow it then it's a link. It's still a URL whether they can just click it or if they have to cut and paste it. Just because it's not a clickable hyperlink doesn't change the fact that you're still advertising a link in your sig. If you want to advertise a link in your sig then you need to be a donor. :cool2:

Technically even if you did have donor status your sig would still be a violation of the forum rules because your linking to your own website. I've personally never felt that would be any worse than linking to affiliate sites, but the fact is - your only allowed to use either affiliate links or links to other bhw threads.

If you want to follow the rules to advertise with your sig, the only way to do it properly is to either have a thread in the BST forum and link to that in your sig, or have an affiliate program that you make a link to. And you can only do the affiliate link or banner if you pay for Jr.VIP or if you don't have enough posts then you can pay for a Premium membership.

I don't make the rules. I'm just letting you know what they are.

edit- If you want to see a proper sig advertising a service, see facebookdude's sig in his reply below this one. Facebookdude is a donor and he's linking to his sales thread in the bst forum, that's the way it's supposed to be done. If you want to advertise a link in your sig then you need to pay for donor status. Sorry, but that's just part of the rules.

I'm not trying to hijack pyronaut's thread though. I was just pointing something out about your sig.

Like I said, there's nothing wrong with offering your service to him as a freelancer.
This thread is actually for pyronaut to find a freelance graphics designer so maybe the rest of the replies should be left for that. ~wolf
