I moved to a small town in Nebraska back in March I had a job but quit because I had to head back to Massachusetts due to a family member being really Sick. I came back and have been looking for a job since.
I have been almost to every place filling out applications but since this town is so small there is not to many people hiring. I believe the population count is anywhere from 20-40K mainly white people but there are hispanics and semolions (I don't know how to spell it) Laughs!
Any way my question is How can I make money in a small town. I'm not looking for replies such as go mow a lawn! I want to use the internet to make money and perhaps promote something that will help the community benefit from as well.
There is a event center here that has a capacity of 7,000 Since I am a promoter and have various connections within the entertainment business I would like to set up events. But due to paucity of people I do not know in this town I cannot book artist if there is no base of people who will come I'm also looking for methods to connect with this town. without having to pay for media.
The event center charges a rental fee of $3K and $2.00 per ticket
I can make good money off ticket-prices and anyone willing to help suggest some valuable ideas. I will cut you off with a piece of the earnings.
Example if tickets went for $30.00 and I booked the 7K that = $210,000 and I would deduct $17,000 for the event fees.
