The card probably has some loose solder joints. Take all the plastic components off and bake it in your oven to reflow the solder. I did this a few years ago with a geforce 8800GT card after it was experiencing artifacting (the crazy graphics on the screen). Still working to this day and fixed the artifacts. Heres a guide where I learned about it.
