GPT - 4 API Can everyone please check?

"API Access On July 6, 2023 , we gave all API users who have a history of successful payments access to the GPT-4 API (8k). We plan to open up access to new developers by the end of July 2023, and then start raising rate-limits after that depending on compute availability. We are not currently granting access to GPT-4-32K API at this time, but it will be made available at a later date. ChatGPT Plus ChatGPT Plus subscribers will get GPT-4 access on chat.openai.com with a usage cap. We will dynamically adjust the exact usage cap depending on demand and system performance in practice. GPT-4 currently has a cap of 25 messages every 3 hours. Please be patient though — we expect massive demand and will scale up and optimize our systems over the coming months. Note: this will not provide subscribers with access to the API."

Do you currently have access to gpt 4 api? Does it open access after the prepayment of 5 dollars? Do you have any information? Thank you very much.

I used up the trial $5 this month, but I don't have access to 4 since no successful payment. Even though I added payment method a long time ago. Even if I rack up a bill, I think they won't process it until the end of the month (they charge at the end of the month) since their system charges on a monthly basis.

Yes, I got access tomorrow. I spent somewhere around 30-40 bucks in 3 months.

firt thing to note is that they changed the way you make call to the completion API

Btw, I have some good news for you. They will roll out access to GPT-4 by the end of this month to everyone. So just got a few weeks to wait now. You should still rack up a small bill in the meantime though (just to be safe). That's what I'm doing.
