Guys,

I have got an individual who has got on Sec.gov site for doing something wrong however he paid of and got out of the case now to start a new life on Internet, his case files needs to be pushed back which are on sec.gov. So it looks like this..

When someone search with his name, those two case files comes up on internet with having sec.gov link. Now, i wonder if Reputation Management can really help to assist that fellow for rebuilding his reputation.

Can someone suggest anything other than Creating and Claiming Profiles? Because those web 2.0 activities are done already and they are ranking but below .gov link.

Looking for great suggestions.

PM me the .gov links so I can see exactly what this "individual" has been up to.

SEC will never ever remove their links, it is their job and duty to inform and warn potential investors on specific cases of money fraud, pumped stocks, etc.
You can try to push it lower with various web 2.0 platforms ranking and whatnot but their files will stand there for anyone who know how and where to search.

I've been looking for the same, only with regard to an irs.gov release. Did you find any useful strategies?

IMO .gov sites, especially if they are IRS and SEC have far too much authority to be pushed down in the Serps with poorly built WEB2.0's and crappy social profiles. It will take proper professional reputation management techniques and it won't be cheap.
And like TZ2011 said, the pages will still be there and will be easily found if people search.

Yeah you won't outrank those unless you get other pages from .Gov sites with higher authority and his name in the SEO Title or Meta. And honestly if he got caught doing bad shit by the SEC he prob. deserves it.
