Hey, got my application for monetization rejected by YouTube.
They say some of the content does not belong to me. What can I do to get through the verification?
- delete all videos
- upload 3 "innocent" videos, where I go for a walk
- apply for monetization again
Would this 3 steps work? Do you have a better strategy on how get through verification safely? Will they close my account, if I started uploading the once deleted videos after successful verification?
Now I learned, that deleting your videos also deletes the 4k hrs watch time required to apply for ypp, so I wouldn't meet the requirement watch time anymore. But those numbers are not updated immediately. So could I just delete the old rejected content, wait for it to finish, and apply again, whilst the view count has not yet been updated? Has anyone tried, cause I only got this one shot. Otherwise, I'd still prepare the bulk deletion but wait until I got more subs for my "coming clean"
thx
