"Do NOT send us any more spam. *We are a small charity helping disabled and dying children and are hacked off at the time it takes sifting through bogus blog comments such as yours! *Have some respect!"

It is a legit website. I guess I should have a set of sympathetic comments for these types of sites.

Well if they managed to send you email for comment spam it means that they are not spammed enough.

I agree, it doesn't even take a second to delete a spam comment. Writing an email to complain about a spam comment is a waste of time.

I don't use my email. They went to the site and sent it through the contact option.

Tough shit. These non-profits and charities are more likely to be crooked than any other organization. Have you ever been around one, and seen it from the inside?

They use whatever compassion you might feel for whatever downtrodden group they advocate for in order to "get over". They fail to perform at even the most basic level and use the <insert victim group here> in order to divert attention away from their incompetance and/or dishonest.

This is life in the big City. If they have a problem with Spam and online, they should go back to playing "Asteroids" on the Atari. If there was a buck to be made from it, and they could do it anonymously, they'd be hiring you to spam as many people as possible. More than likely this is some feeble personality contacting you that couldn't get a job to save their own life. People donate money to these organizations to do more constructive things than send hate mail to anonymous internet spammers.

Charity organisations are not at all saint or anything. I wouldn't care about that. And they obviously have enough time to send pointless emails, screw them.

You tell them, "There ain't no rest for the wicked. Money don't grow on trees. I've got bills to pay, I've got mouths to feed. Ain't nothing in this world for free."

By the EXACT same rational you people are using in this thread, the OP could have removed them from his list in the time it took to post about it couldn't he?

That said, maybe you should point them toward some spam filter stuff in your next blast :D

Actually the charity sent that email to you because they want to look at you feeling guilty because of what you've done to them. So you will donate some of your money to them hehe nice strategy though

Non profit is a scam, its a word used for, free labor to make money for themselves, and 3% goes to the charity itself.. because they believe some money is better then no money.

Not all are like that, but most are.

Worst are the ones with the kids working in the malls selling you stickers, t shirts, books for non profit organizations. On a 10 dollar sale, 2.25 goes to the worker, 2.50 for the product, rest to the advertising company (your boss) and 3% of the profit to the actual charity.

in end all, who cares.
