Got the funds, need the knowledge

If you are starting off let me give you the advice that I wish I had followed and saved myself of years of wasted time.

1. Find and stick with one thing. You like going to office? Build an agency. Like sitting at home ? Start a blog or get into SEO. Want fast results and don't want to wait? Get into paid media. Basically choose one thing and don't switch ever. No matter what. Even if there is gold on the other side don't switch . I hope you get it.

2. Once you choose and you have learnt about it, get practicing. Don't waste months reading blogs and imagining how you are going to make millions and jump into a pool of money like scrooge. Practice, practice and action. You will learn more with experience then any blog or course out there. Run a campaign and see how it goes. Maybe you will loose money but you will learn what is wrong. Then run that campaign again and change things. Keep doing that till you start making money.

I hope this helps, cheers.

Great advice, thanks alot!

With paid media you mean FB/IG/Twitter right?

That's one route, but you also have ppc, ppv , media buys etc. You can pick one research on it and get started.

What are the options when your new to IM and you have upto 2-3k to invest?

The only investment you can make in the beginning is in your knowledge. Don't pay for tools or services if you don't understand the principles behind them.

Read anything you get here on BHW. But you should consider also reading books. Marketing books, business books, entrepreneurship, biography books. Basically, try to understand principles and then look for methods. ;)

Is the IM market saturated allready?

If you think of IM as a way to reach customers, is not saturated at all. There will always be someone coming with a better way to deliver promotions or products.

But, if you think of IM as a sector and you want to sell IM products to marketers.. then I think is heading to a saturation stage. If it didn't get there already o_O

hello yes . If you put a little bit of money along with hardwork and dedication it will become success more faster.
Suppose if you have a youtube channel and make some videos. You put some money initially to boost subs, views it will get noticed by alot of peoples

Hello,

I see alot of guys/gals here that start out with pretty much no funds to invest.

What are the options when your new to IM and you have upto 2-3k to invest? Along with hard work and dedicating, will this increase your changes of succeeding alot better?

Is the IM market saturated allready? And where do you find a legit coach/mentor? I have looked arround in the warrior forums but its hard (for me at least) to seperate the good guys from the 'scammers'.

Thanks.

Congratulations, you just made your first mistake - by posting that you have ready cash.
I have a fool proof method that is guaranteed to make you millions. It's a simple push button exercise that only requires you to sit and press a button a few times each day, then sit back and watch the $$$ roll in.
The price is $2.5 K . pm me for further details.
NB: the price doubles to $5K after 24 hours, so get in quick!

Your right, I posted that I have funds to invest. Does that mean I will hand it out to any random PM'ing me. I don't think so inspite you thinking this maybe. Thanks for your input.

Same situation as you, OP. In the end, I looked at my useless money and decided to get into trading online (following trends and traders, not operating myself). So far, it's a 20 bucks profit for 1000$ invested in a month. Not amazing, but better than a bank account at least.

As long as consumerism exists, the IM market will never be saturated. People have this belief that when a niche is highly competitive it is not worth entering. On the contrary, you should. Niche dominators want you to believe it is not possible.

Hi

My personal opinion is that knowledge is more useful than money. So if you are a newbie keep your money safe and start getting knowledge!

With good enough knowledge, you can make money online.
Without knowledge, you can lose a lot of money very fast, by making stupid and irresponsible choices.

If you have the knowledge to make money, you can repeat the process.

If you have money, but are completely clueless about how to make it or how to keep it, you will not have money in the future.

Interesting theory. I actually also thoughed about this before.

I agree, but we could use money to gain knowledge (faster) , right?

I didn't pm you dude ... and my post was a humorous way of telling you to be careful what you say. Too bad you don't like humor.

I know you didn't PM me and I was just stating that I wont blindly respond to PM's.

That's good, glad to hear it. Bear in mind this is a 'Black Hat' forum ... 'black hat' in marketing terms means leave your ethics at the door - people want to make money, and many of them don't care how they do it. (Disclaimer: This does NOT imply that BHW forum or its owners don't care about ethics!)

Good advice thanks :)

IMHO, 2-3K is nothing if you want to invest in a business. I mean, it can be everything if you are lucky, but proven.. you will do shit with this money. I have seen 10Ks going to drain, if you wanna know. Be careful with your funds and do not ask for public opinion. Do your own research and invest in something that you know gonna work..

You might attack me right now but I seriously do not give a shit lol. What I said is bitter truth.. ;)

$2k could be everything to invest in a business and you don't always need $10k to start something. It all depends where you're going to start. If I was starting from scratch I would use some of that money to hire a coder to make me some WP plugins, get a page builder and hand it to a designer and copy writer (who doesn't charge the earth but one that at least knows how to write copy) to make me a nice sales page.

Then I'd put some money in to a decent server and get the coder to hook up the plugins to a licensing system that he installed there.

Once tested I'd open a thread at BHW looking for beta testers of the plugins to get feedback and find bugs etc so the coder could fix things. Once everything was sorted I'd open a BST thread here at BHW and start off my offering some review copies of the plugin and watch over that thread like it was my new born son.

After a couple of weeks once the reviews had been posted on the thread I'd pay to make the thread sticky.

Total cost? Less than $1,000 depending on the coders skill and speed plus copy writer and designer costs. It does come down to knowing where to look to get things done without overpaying or getting ripped off.

Haha thanks :)

Right I very much understand that knowledge is power. I was just wondering if you could gain knowledge faster if you invest. Now finding the right investment seems like a difficult path to follow.

Yes, you can buy knowledge and what you're paying for is that persons experience, their knowledge and to save you time and mistakes.

Interesting theory. I actually also thoughed about this before.

This is what I do. I enter competitive niches that I know I can be better than in than my competitors in terms of pricing or quality of service. In no time, they will know who you are. Besides, a lot of old fucks are dominating important niches. It is time for some fresh blood.

I'm very much aware of this, but where do we gain the knowledge? The IM world is huge if your just starting out and pretty difficult to filter out to good information.
Best way is to see what people are doing, not what they're saying and then take inspiration from that and make their methods work for you. The only way to learn what works and what doesn't is to take action and see for yourself.
