    Hey everyone,

so I got a SSL certificate for my new website, I redirected all versions of my website to https://domain.com and now it is indexed in Google as http instead of https, how does this come?

Also, in webmaster I can only choose http or http://www.

You add the site in webmaster tools as https:// unlike Bing google doesn't let you change it so you need to add it as a new domain.

    1. Make sure you installed the certificate correctly:
    https://decoder.link/sslchecker

Alternatively, you could visit the website in Chrome and check if it says green "Secure" next to URL in the address bar.

    2. Make sure both non-ssl URL versions http:// and http://www redirect to the secured version https://. Here is .htaccess code to achieve it:

    RewriteEngine On
    RewriteCond %{SERVER_PORT} 80
    RewriteRule ^(.*)$ https://yourdomain.com/$1 [R=301,L]

    3. Insert https version of your URL into WMT.

Google takes time to update it and second make sure your page canonical tag is using "https" in it.
