Social media is becoming very powerful platform to market and build customers, day by day. There are some tricks to hit your audience and track right audience. You need to have multiple accounts and regularly post information about your brand along with other content that attracts people. Like, something controversial, funny, insights, offers, infographics will increase your engagement. Informative blog posting and sharing, liking posts, writing about your app on other social forums will increase visibility of your product.
Even I being a social media junkie use these small strategies. All I can say is that these do work. And to manage all my accounts and have automatic regular postings via my accounts and pages, I use Sociota. It is best for Facebook and twitter users. It keeps me in regular contact with my audience and share with them.

I was always under the impression that if I post daily this will result in SPAM... I dont want my followers to unfollow me right?

Everybody of your followers / readers will define spam in a different way. For one it will be stuff worth reading while for others it will be spam.

Depends on your niche or platform. The best Tweeters tweet 20x a day or more. I run a Motivational Facebook, we post 1-2 times per day but say WWE, who has a show with 20 things happening on it might post 5 times a day.
