got shadow banned using res proxy +VPN but using secondary app in secure folder on s24u works

anyone know why this would be the case? I got shadow banned after two days on an account using a solid residential proxy and VPN after I made one comment. I decided to make a new account on the secure folder secondary reddit app on my s24u, no proxy (just VPN) and it seems to be working. I'm making comments and no ban so far. I'm trying to figure out the logic here but I just don't get it. anyone have an idea why this would happen? thanks.

I also used ISP, still get banned, residential proxy maybe not work good now. You download reddit app on your phone and it works good? how many comments do you make per day?
 
Because mobile footprint is much safer, as compared to any other device. Use mobile proxies and your accounts will have the least chance of getting shadowbanned on any device.

I already had the reddit app as a secondary app in my secure folder (work profile) on my s24u (after using the primary app and getting a site wide ban). so far so good with the secure folder app on the s24u, no proxy or anything. I'm making about 5 normal comments a day. I really don't get it.
 
It sounds like Reddit’s system might be flagging the combination of residential proxy with VPN, as that setup can sometimes look suspicious. Using just the VPN on a secondary app in the secure folder may seem more "natural" to Reddit's algorithms, which might be why you're avoiding a shadowban. Reddit tends to be sensitive to multiple layers of IP masking, especially with new accounts
 
Honestly, reddit is now too sensitive to have multiple layers of IP. So choose one.

A residential proxy is way better than a VPN.
 
Using proxies on through mobile data is advised as some websites discourage these kind of activities, making it worth while to use across multiple devices through cloning method on your phone.

seriously, TIL u don't need a VPN or proxy to evade shadowban, u can just use the secure folder reddit app and proceed normally. fucking hilarious I think.

if u use Android just use secure folder reddit app and u don't even need a proxy. I got around two site wide bans doing this, no proxy
 
IP is not the main factor. The key is not to operate the new account too frequently. My experience is to create a channel by myself, and then post with the new account. Karma can be accumulated quickly.
