Got scammed using crypto, can I get it back?

Those offering recover service will take more from you and run away.

Any recovery service claiming to retrieve stolen crypto are actually scammers. I lost $1000 to the tinder Asian scam a few years back and even tracked down the good for nothing imp, uncovered his coding question from stack over flow which lead to his identity and even found 3-4 of his other illegal businesses he had operated. We were playing cat and mouse all over the internet. He too had a recovery business. Nothing can be done, even going through the law did nothing. Better to move forward and consider it a lesson.

You are naive to think that crypto recovery can help you
 
Sometimes you can recover lost crypto, but those are generally for legitimate hiccups. For scams, there's generally no hope in ever seeing a recovery from that.

Forget it. If it was an exchange account that you sent money to (aka non custodial wallet), it actually was possible to freeze the funds and a chance to get it back if you had proper proof. With custodial wallet, it is pretty much impossible.

Cryptocurrency transactions are not very secured. Always use an Escrow service for cryptocurrency trades or transactions.
 
If you know who scammed you, you can get the police involved

Well thats how it is. Theres allways guys who offer shit cheaper or trusted seller decides to scam. I dont care that much honestly but its dirty shit to scam fellow co marketers
 
Next thread's title will be "I got scammed trying to recover some crypto that I lost to a scammer, how can I get back all the crypto that I was scammed in these 2 incidents ?".
