Got Manual Penalty From Google

Hello,

Recently I got penalty for my affiliate website. I thought that it is due to some of the backlinks which is created by the website owner where I place/commented. I've tried my best to remove all backlinks wherever I've backlinks leaving some of it as it it and when I submit for the reconsideration request, they sent me the following message:

Google received a reconsideration request from a site owner domain.com

We've reviewed your site and we believe that http://domain.com still violates our quality guidelines. These guidelines outline illicit practices which may lead Google to take action on a site in order to keep webspam out of search results. In order to preserve the quality of our search engine, pages from may http://domain.com/ not appear or may not rank as highly in Google's search results, or may otherwise be considered to be less trustworthy than sites which follow the quality guidelines.


Please correct or remove all content that is outside our quality guidelines. Keep in mind that simply deleting all of your site?s content and immediately requesting reconsideration will not lead to success. Instead we recommend that you spend considerable time and effort to make sure your site provides original, valuable content for users. In order to have a successful reconsideration request, you will need to show that your updated site contains content that does not violate our guidelines.
For more specific information about the status of your site, visit the Manual Actions page in Webmaster Tools. From there, you may request reconsideration of your site again when you believe your site no longer violates the quality guidelines.

My content is all original and every nice. I don't see why google don't like it..

Any help would be appreciated...

If it's just some crappy affiliate site I would just say transfer the content to a new domain and start over.

It's not worth waiting around for Google to process reconsideration requests.
 
Google hates affiliate sites, nothing you can do aboutit.
 
If it is a penalty, your wasting times with reconsideradtion with Google, just let the domain deindex and use the content on another site
 
Are the articles very short? Are they riddled with affiliate links? You need to audit your website.

Yes, I've spread affiliate links throughout my website but not that much. However, for homepage, though the content is in long words but I've placed affiliate links for every short points (for different topics). I think Google don't like that..

Improve the articles on your site by:

- Making shorter articles longer
- Minimizing the instances of affiliate links in each article
- Reducing fluff and redundant sentences/paragraphs
- Correcting grammatical errors

...etc.
 
I'm surprised to see a manual penalty for content are you running adsense? No point starting again on a new domain until you understand the reason for the penalty so you can avoid making the same mistakes again.
 
When you get nailed with this kind you just need to essentially "start over" by adding more unique content that is actually wortwhile.

Junk content won't work and if you've been caught with this that means that you are gonna have a rough time with anything less than quality.

You can recover if you actually try and fix it, but if you don't you won't recover.

English isn't your first language. I'm certain it's because they don't want to put broken English articles amongst native-speaker content. Might get through an algo but manually I doubt it. Especially seeing as there are affiliate links too it must set the spam alarm bells off.

If your English isn't the greatest, it may be a better idea to order professionally written articles from BHW that won't give you any penalties for being inadequate to readers. It will only help you with conversions as well.
 
I still find it hard to believe that a MANUAL penalty was imposed for low quality/poorly written content. That is what their algo is for. A Panda algo penalty sure, but a guy from Google HQ imposing a manual penalty for poorly written content? Doesn't sound right to me.

Manual penalties tend to be for serious stuff like sape links or hateful/illegal content. I gotta check this site out for myself OP, send me the link please mate.
 
Let me add one more thing that I know how's my English is, that's why I don't have written content for my website. Yes I've written something in "About Us". Do you people think they give penalty for that? Also, today I've checked all the posts of my website in copyscape.com and I noticed that all passed except one. It has 10 results found. When I check all those results it has like around 20-40 words copy in all. Well these words are nothing but the names of the products itself which is also found on the other similar websites.
 
I only link up my adsense sites in webmaster tools. All affiliate and amazon sites are kept clear from google, also using different hosting.
 
Edit. I just realized you've linked every image to an affiliate link. This is giving you 10-15 affiliate links per page. To the naked eye it doesn't look bad, but when you read the source code you're getting an affiliate link every 50-100 words. That has to be the issue. Unlink the images and even remove a couple of the text ones per page. Plus they may feel the image links to affiliate products is deceiving, not just excessive.
