I started in 2018 with $10k. Got a few ups and many many downs. Now what I have left is $2k from that $10k.

I plan to do crypto trading for getting an income for the rest of my life. Then I learn some of the crypto course out there.

And then I got lost, so many coins, I don't know which one to choose, so many timeframes I also don't know which timeframe should I watch.

I felt overwhelmed, I kept asking myself everyday, how are you gonna sustain life like this? so many confusing variables. Man I don't know, I felt lost.

my best coin was $HOT, I joined the ICO in May 2018 with $2k. A few months later I exit at 4x.

After that tried trading EOS, no stop loss, avg price $8, crashed to $2, still holding, going back up to $4, cut loss. Balance was around $4k.

And then LINK, no stop loss, avg price $4, crashed to $2, cut loss immediately as punishment for me not setting up a stop loss. Also after LINK crashed I got stressed and hospitalized for a few days. Balance was around $2k.

After that I just try to do trading, always set stop loss, but stop loss is too tight, I kept hitting my stop loss. Balance slowly decreasing to $500.

And at some point, I just stopped, holding my $500 USDT missing the March 2021 Bull Run.

I helped my friend setting up binance account, from there I found that I have some leftover coins, like 1.2 BNB, and 0.25 ETH on MetaMask.

I sold those coins, and now balance is around $2k.

Which coin did you put your money in?

Try to learn with simulations, fake money. When you have a system in place and you are confident on profits, you can get back to real money. It's clear that you don't have a game plan

Crypto is highly volatile which is why I don't ever trade in it. The best way to make money in this market is to invest in a few solid projects and HODL, imo.

Speculative trading is very risky especially if you are working with crypto, My advice will be to stay away from crypto trading, best way to invest in crypto is to buy and hold not to speculate on price movements. This type of trading works only on less volatile assets like indexes, currencies, stocks.

Unless you really know what you're doing, do not day trade. Just pick some solid projects after a thorough research and HODL.
How can we know that we know what we are doing. Even after some research our estimate can go wrong.

I lost $7k I still owe the bank a loan. It's been a great experience for me. I know it's not the end of the world, there will be better days.

Obviously no one can predict the future, but I would only attempt trading if I was highly skilled in technical, fundamental and on-chain analysis. I'm not, so I just HODL.

The cryptocurrency market is very risky, only enter it if you have money to lose and you won't miss it, if it were easy to predict which currency would make a profit everyone would become rich

U trading futures, margin or spot?

I would add to this, stick to big coins. By big coins I mean well know alt coins and layer 2 solutions. If you have done that from the start you would have made a easy x2 or more with much less effort and stress. Almost all of them are super up compared to last year. Don't go and buy a obscure low cap project thinking it has all this potential to change the world.

Just get a source of income from a job or from a side hustle, invest with DCA in the next bear market and you´ll be good.

You can make more money by doing that than just trading every day. It´s just about patience and investing regularly.

Crypto looks easy to make ton of money in short period amount of time.

In reality it is a lot more harder that it looks.
Majority of investors are losing more money than gaining profits.

Market is full with manipulation, emotional manipulation, pump and dump, rugpull etc

The easiest way to make money in crypto nowdays is by following an expert than understand the flow of whales money based on coin category.

Because in crypto there are different season every week.

Example, last week is meme season..this week could be protocol.. next nft and soon on. This can be understood by looking at the chart (Elliot wave + 5 wave scalper).

Never put 100% of your money into single asset or single category.

Another thing that you need to aware is
