Got issue when doing airdrops

Hey guys!
I'm claiming some airdrops but running into problems when I use a proxy. Sometimes the site won’t even let me connect my wallet if I’m behind a proxy. Other times it connects, but when I hit “claim,” it just fails. A few airdrops work fine though, so I don’t really get what’s going on.
I’ve tested both residential and datacenter proxies but the results are all over the place. Not sure if it’s about location, anti-bot stuff, or something else.

Why don’t you use mobile proxies? They mimic real user traffic in a way that makes your job done.
 
the highest quality proxies are mobile proxies and usually that gets you through the door. they are more expensive though
 
I’ve faced similar issues with proxies when claiming airdrops. Sometimes it works fine, other times it just blocks or fails randomly.
 
That happens because most airdrop sites use anti-bot filters (IP reputation, fingerprinting, geo-restrictions, wallet-activity checks), so some proxies get flagged or blocked even if they connect fine.
 
Run the setup you're using to claim the airdrops (browser + proxy) through some proxy checking websites and see if any issues are flagged. BrowserLeaks, Whoer.net, Pixelscan and Fake Vision are a few sites you could start testing your setup on. It's possible you could be leaking your IP or geo somehow - alternatively you may find your proxy(s) are not high enough quality or flagged. Either way it should hopefully give you an idea of the weak link in your setup.
 
I think it's a problem with your IP, not just the airdrop. Just like when I use a simple VPN to pay with a credit card, the browser will remind me that my credit card is unavailable, but when I switch to a better IP proxy, there will be no such problem. So, it is very likely that there is a problem with your IP. I suggest you change to a better and stronger proxy IP.

That happens because many airdrop sites run anti-bot checks (IP reputation, location whitelists, wallet fingerprinting, JavaScript challenges), so some proxies get flagged or blocked; your best bet is to test clean residential/mobile IPs from regions the project supports and rotate less aggressively.

not really, residential proxy is ok enough, the important's finding a decent provider offering quality proxys pool.
 
It’s usually a mix of geo restrictions and anti-bot checks. Test smaller pools of trusted residential proxies and stick to locations close to the project’s main user base.
 
The difference comes from the quality of proxy IP, server location and anti-bot mechanism of each airdrop. If the proxy is blacklisted or fingerprint does not match (wallet + IP + browser), the possibility of failure is very high. You need to use a civil proxy/clean IP, synchronize fingerprint (browser, timezone, language), or simply limit the proxy for airdrops that require strict security.
