Do you have an established site with Google Analytics and E-commerce Tracking Setup? (If you don't, WTF Bro... missing out!) Here's a free tool that helps you optimize your website's existing traffic. This tool scans through your existing traffic and finds the best search terms that you should focus on. It also estimates the extra revenue you will make by improving your website's rank for the search terms.

Step 1: Download GWT Search Query Report for your Site.

Step 2: Create and Download Per Visit Value Custom Report.

    First, create the report:

    Second, download the report:

STEP 3: Input both Reports Data into the Keyword Value Finder spreadsheet (Sheet 2 and 3). View Keyword Value Finder Here, "File > Download As" to download the spreadsheet:

Do Not Edit Sheet 1, Except for 2 Fields:

G2: Enter the Custom Date Range you filtered by in Google Analytics. I filtered by 6 months.

H2: Enter your Traffic Goal. This is the % of Total Search Traffic that you think you can get. 30% is a good number to shoot for, as you can get 30-50% with a #1 Spot. I wouldn't suggest going over 50% in H2.

The Results are Displayed in Column E. You want to look for the highest Additional Monthly Revenue numbers to determine the best search terms to focus on.

I used an Ecommerce Client's data for this, which is why the search terms are replaced with "keyword1/2/3/4". As you can see, I used this tool to find two $3,000+/month terms for my client. I'm going to focus on improving them [IMG].

P.S: Got E-Commerce Consulting Leads? PM Me, I pay 10% recurring commission.
