Got Fired Yay!

Join the club...got fired from an ad agency recently for showing up late every day....that "office space" attitude cam over me and I just didn't (and still dont) give a fuck...although I am poor now but hopefully not for long :)

You should feel glad you don't work with idiots now, cookie stuffing...haha...please tell me you didn't work for an internet co

Well I work for a company that used my idea to generate
3 new routes within there business .

The new idea is what making the company most of it's money.

Did I get anything exrta NO in fact got fired . I find many people who are owners or bosses have not a clue how valuable people are work for them .....

Like my brother got fired once and a few weeks later the company ask him to come back NOW realizing how much money he brought into the business. He said screw you ....

Reckon with a part-time job (maybe) if you need one and bashing away at black hat you are in a good place now. Employment isn't necessarily the safest place to be right now

I'm happy for you dude since you hated that job.
Same thing happened to me in June last year. Got a package deal that still sustains me, bought a house, got married, started my renovation cie and got a baby. Life is so much better now.

Word of advice though: Use that free time right now. Don't get lazy and don't procrastinate. Just do it. Chances are you'll look back into it next year and say: Yeah baby. Life's good.

Agreed, but if you are referring (I'm not ranting, but if you're not, my bad :) ) to what I wrote, I didn't say I did it all with IM and BH techniques. Just that I used this opportunity to change my life.

Anyway, good luck dude and make the most of the time you have on your hands.

thanks for all the replies, well im just waiting to see what happens on rash hashanah , if nothing, i will go blackhat all the way maybe with a sprinkling of white hat dust, oh while im hear does anyone know any good tutorials for fireworks cs4 , as ive got the trial for now and then ive noticed it adds the possibility of creating the graphics and it exports all the coding and everything for you which is extremely useful and would love how to use it properly as all i get is blank shapes when i export.

Oh another thing, one thing i havent seen on the market is a book on blackhat techniques , you know like the hackers handbook, be good if someone wrote one and put it on lulu.com and had it published to major bookstores

On each occasion is what caused because i asked the wrong questions and argued with the wrong people.

Now i sit and look back i realise i actually got fired for :-

I can't believe you got fired for something you didn't even do... Hate the job or not, I probably would have fought that decision and/or gone to court to get a full year's salary out of it.

Wtf kind of shit is that anyway? A preemptive cookie stuffing firing?
 
heh, I had the problem with that security as well. They wanted to fire me, because they thought that I know too much and I could be a hacker. Come on! :D That the lamest reason :D Good luck man! :)
 
That's what happened to me juggalomc. I had to manage all these kids in a game company, a lot of them were stealing the intellectual property and stuff and when i started racking these guys out of the system, i got fired.

I was marched off the premises and given $60,000 to go away.

So the result wasn't too bad, but it meant that i could never get a job in games development again.

They kind of made it look like i was the thief, but the truth is they didn't want the secret of how they were being ripped off out there.

maybe all the elect from all the companies around the world that have been fired should join together and form a company and show them what they missed out on, we could call the business the illumanati

That's a very good idea. Can you imagine how much money a company full of Black Hat advertisers could pull in?
 
Trouble is. black hats are fiercly independent so not sure how well they would work together. You need a common cause that they could all gather around.
