Got Banned

One of my reddit accounts got banned from askreddit and now when I comment in any subreddit with any other account it's not visible in any subreddit in incognito?

Does this mean I'm showdow banned? How to deal with this?

You do not get any notifications for shadow banning.
After some time - with useful contributions you sometimes get auto unbanned.

I got a dm from the mods saying im banned from askreddit.
I checked my comments in incognito in other subreddits and it's no visible from any account anymore.
 
This is not shadowban, and not automated.
This is manual ban from mods of ask Reddit .

How to deal with this situation?

It's not askreddit only, accounts comments on other subreddits are not showing anymore
 
Warm up the accounts before you post comments and start promoting something.

Try commenting in a super small subreddit and check with another logged-out device

Warm up the accounts by performing some actions. Don't just start with upvoting right after creating the account. Once it is warmed up, only then start commenting and start by focusing on smaller subreddits.
 
askreddit is very touchy, and prone to banning people, if they dont fall into the narrative of the question asked. its best to avoid these subs if your new,.
