Instagram just suspended my account for fraud and deception even though my posts were just selfies and no scamming activities went on in the account. For the appeal, They made me enter my email, phone number to receive codes and then a video selfie where I had to turn my head left and right a couple of times. Is this normal verification to go through when being falsely suspended for fraud and deception? Even though the selfies on the account were just AI generated, it had no intentions of scamming. Will I have a good chance getting the account back?

This account was made over 2 years ago, and it had hundreds of thousands of followers. I used the same IP address on it like my backups and those didn’t get deleted. Just that one account did.

That's weird but anyway my friend faced this year ago as well, they didn't unblock his acc so he was forced to make another one, and it works great so far. I hope they give it back to you
He got banned for fraud/deception as well? Did they have to go through the video selfie verification as well? Even if I don’t get the account back, I just created a new account and will go from there

Yep, he underwent the same steps, i dont know maybe he could just keep trying to unblock but he gave up all this and create new one

your using AI, that is deception, instagram doesnt want any AI generated images on the platform just authentic images

its quite weird because there are quite big ai social media accounts posing with a fake model and they even make blog posts about them

For new accounts, Instagram may be somewhat challenging. Were weak proxies used during account creation, or did you use several IP addresses or devices in quick succession?
