Got an offer for my content on AC

I received an offer for 2 different articles I have written...Do I have to accept it or does the value go up if I don't accept it?

I am kind of confused on this. One was around $3 the other was a little over $2. I thought articles were around $3.50-4.50/article?

That was the offer they made. You have to either take it or leave it.

You'll get paid more as other factors in your account go up too. Getting the best value for your articles is a science just as much as writing them is.

If you haven't checked out redtide's book, give it a look. (No rhyme intended)
It'll give you all the insight you need.

But with these two articles, I'd suggest just taking the money. They won't re-offer on it.

OP - Great advice from danny, also, you did great for your first couple of articles.

Definitely check redtides guide if you want those 3.50 to 4.50 offers.

I agree with twoj04. Those are good first offers.

My first ones were like well below $2.00 at the start.

Mine were lower than that even lol. It's a building process LVNeptune, they're actually (found this out today) still paying upwards of $9.00+ for general category articles in some cases. If you know how to give them just what they're wanting and then scale up with mass submissions and outsourcing you'll be able to look back at $2-$3+ offers and laugh. As a starting point the offers are totally in range.

@ Danny - I know, it makes a person drool at the thought of outsourcing 40 articles a day and getting those kind of upfronts per article. $320 a day after paying your rewriters.. how sweet would that be

I once had articles rejected, then I resubmitted them to another account 3 days later.

What the originally offered on the first account was about $4.50. Since the account was suspended, I never got paid. When I resubmitted it, they gave me $1.95.

Go figures.

Haha... what a slap in the face... whats more is they posted a number of articles we submitted before it got banned... AC got at least 10 articles for free...

I'm not as ballsy as Danny with resubmitting his old stuff... but guess ballsy-ness payed off...
